What You’ll Need:

  • 1 box Joy Sugar Cones
  • 12 store-bought sugar cookies
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 package white candy melts
  • 1 can green frosting
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Chocolate Coins
  • Sugar Cone holder*

Optional:

Piping bag with 1M tip

*A cone holder can be made by using recycled household items like an egg carton or cardboard box. Simply punch holes in the top of these items to make your cone stand!

What To Do:

STEP 1: Make the filling: Place the sugar cookies in a large bowl and crumble by hand or with a fork. Using an electric handheld or stand-up mixer, combine the cream cheese and sugar cookie crumbles and mix until fully blended. (You may also mix by hand with a spoon or spatula.)

STEP 2: Fill the cones: Fill the sugar cones with the sugar cookie mixture and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

STEP 3: Dip the cones: Using a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy melts according to the directions on the package. Remove the cones from the refrigerator and dip only the top of the cone into the melted candy. Next, dip the cones in a bowl of rainbow sprinkles and place upright in a cone-holder stand to dry.

STEP 4: Decorate the cones: To decorate your shamrock sugar cookie cones, place green frosting in a piping bag that has been fitted with a 1M (or similar) tip and pipe swirls on top of each cone. Top with a shamrock coin and enJOY your festive treat!
