Everything Tastes Better Served in a Waffle Bowl!

Everything Tastes Better Served in a Waffle Bowl!

Many years ago, there was a novelty hit song with the line, “Talk about your childhood wishes, you can even eat the dishes!”

At the time, it probably seemed like an impossible dream for those who love sweet treats, but Joy Cone made that dream a reality with the creation of the Joy Cone Waffle Bowl and the waffle bowl’s smaller sibling, the enJOY-a-Bowl®.

The same process is used to make Joy Cone’s Waffle Bowls as is used in making Joy Cone’s popular Waffle Cones. The batter is a blend of high-grade cake and pastry flours, sweetened with dark brown sugar instead of using the more common and cheaper combination of white sugar and molasses, which often results in a bitter taste.

For a glimpse into the making of Joy Cone Waffle Bowls, along with Joy Cone’s many other delicious products, you can follow the process shown at the Joy Cone facility in Flagstaff, Arizona.

With a width of 4.5 inches, and a depth of nearly two inches, the Waffle Bowl can hold enough treats to satisfy even the most extreme sweet tooth. Blog Image Here are a few tasty and easy-to-make ideas from our Recipes page that will provide instructions on how to creatively employ Waffle Bowls and enJOY-a-Bowls® for your next dessert or upcoming get-togethers with family and friends.
