We are an independent, 100% employee-owned business practicing the art of cone baking since 1918. Starting as a family business, we built an organization we remain proud to be a part of over 100 years later. With that many years under our belt, we know how to make the best cones on the market. Our product quality, paired with our exceptional customer service, has helped us become the largest ice cream cone producer in the United States.
Currently we produce over 2 billion cones each year from four locations. Our corporate location in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, is where it all started. We are able to serve our customers across the U.S. and Mexico with the help of our Flagstaff, Arizona, Le Mars, Iowa and Mexico City, Mexico facilities. From these facilities, we produce our full portfolio of products including the staples in our business: cake cones, sugar cones, waffle cones, and waffle bowls.
We believe what sets us apart is personal attention. We care about every step of our process from how we make our batter to how we do business with our customers and how we work with our employees. We make better cones because we are all invested in the success of Joy Cone. Our employees are owners of the company and with a strong practice of promoting from within, our employees have the opportunity to grow into leaders with us.
