JOB SUMMARY:

This employee is a broad coverage Admin.  Duties include extensive data entry and record keeping processes in support of the department and employees.  Assigned duties will evolve as directed by the HR Manager .  Based on assigned duties, employee facing tasks may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update and maintain internal databases and spreadsheets
  • Prepare HR documents
  • Participate in HR projects, implementations, and initiatives
  • Answer employee queries and provide information as required

  • Must have a demonstrated record of professionalism, cooperation, and excellent communication
  • Must be able to speak, listen, and effectively communicate with team members, employees, and the public
  • Involves clerical, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • Able to read, analyze, and follow directions
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion
  • Involves collection, organization, processing, verifying and filing of required paperwork
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills a must
  • Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
  • Involves extensive keyboard operation and regular use of office equipment
  • Position is essentially sedentary but must have ability to regularly climb stairs and access all areas of the office and plant
  • Involves occasional offsite trainings, seminars, and events

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Computer proficiency required with strong background in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with HRIS or HRMS systems
  • Preference will be given to candidates with related experience
