Industrial Sales Coordinator

Job Title: Industrial Sales Coordinator



This role is a dedicated sales coordinator role for Industrial Sales at the Hermitage location.  The sales coordinator will work directly with the Industrial Business Manager and will provide direct support to sales representatives and customers as required.


  • Provide direct support to the Industrial Sales Business Manager
  • Serve as the communication hub/link to Logistics (traffic), Order Entry, Production, Invoicing and other internal departments
  • Responsible for all functions applicable to the Industrial Sales Coordinator position as well as becoming familiar with Industrial accounts and customers
  • Problem prevention by fully understanding our customers’ needs as well as our internal procedures and policies within multiple departments of Joy Baking Group
  • Assist with account maintenance which includes, but not limited to new item setup, new customer paperwork, and customer sales projections
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints which involves direct communication with distributors, end users, final consumer, and various departments within Joy Baking Group
  • Maintaining and balancing various internal reports
  • Perform other department related duties as directed by supervisor


  • Extensive verbal and written interaction with customers
  • Computer systems/software operation and regular use of office equipment
  • Position is essentially sedentary, but candidate must have the ability to regularly climb stairs and access all areas of the office and plant
  • Occasional offsite training, site visits, and /or seminars a possibility as well as webinars
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Position involves both clerical and administrative duties


  • 4-year college degree strongly preferred
  • Experience working in an office setting
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects while still hitting deadlines
  • Experienced in the use of Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Good math, analytical, communication (written and verbal), time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work professionally with customers, sales representatives and internal departments
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be a self-starter with good work habits and attendance
