Description:

This position is located in Flagstaff, AZ. Please do not apply if you are not in the area, able to commute, or willing to relocate.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs general plant custodial duties and grounds maintenance. Packs to cover lunch breaks and other relief of packers as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform general clean up tasks as listed on the daily clean up sheets for each shift. Record completed tasks and document other issues as necessary
Follow proper handling procedures for cleaning and other chemicals required for the position
Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, steamers, and industrial vacuums
Refill syrup dispensers and change pans
Clean snow from entrances and sidewalks as necessary
Follow proper procedures for cleaning of biohazard spills/accidents
Perform related duties as required by supervisor

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing effectively
Able to legibly and accurately record information
Good understanding of and strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Policies (GMP)
Must be able to safely lift up to 75 pounds, bend, stoop, climb, reach and regularly use stairs
Job involves bending, turning, twisting, use of hands and rotation of wrists
Ability to stand on feet 12 hours per day
Identify areas that need attention and either address or report as necessary.
Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Must be signed off to pack a minimum number of cake cone packs
Must have demonstrated a good work record and attendance
