Responsibilities include the support, installation, set-up, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance of all production equipment, such as mixing and dumping equipment, baking ovens, conveyor systems, and packaging and support equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance per a set schedule as well as respond to unscheduled repairs in a safe and timely manner.
The cookie plant operators are required to cross train across multiple positions on both cookie and the new wafer line. Applicants will be reviewed for all positions listed in this posting. Line 4 (Cookies) will have a 3rd shift. Some new hires will go to 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) and others will go to 3rd shift (11pm – 7am) The operator positions are as follows:
Mixer Operator – Assures quality of incoming raw materials, scaling ingredients, and monitoring batching and mixing equipment assuring dough is satisfactory.
Rotary Mold / Sheeter Operator - This position is responsible for monitoring the molder that forms cookie inclusion products and operation of the sheeting lines for production of wafers and relief/assistance in the mix area in respect to formulating ingredients to produce wafer dough and raw material handling.
Oven Operator - This position is responsible for the operation of the oven for production of wafers/cookies. To ensure all wafers/cookies are baked and packed according to the correct size, shape, color and moisture within a certain specification.
Packaging Operator - This position is responsible for the operation of the packaging robot, box maker, wrapper and metal detector used in manufacturing wafers.Get Application ▶ Career Description ▶
The cookie plant operation requires cross training between different positions. The 2nd shift warehouse person will need to perform all warehouse 2 functions as well as assist production as needed with end of line palletizing, cleaning and other operator duties.

We use a time-tested family recipe that has been passed from one generation to the next. We pay close attention to every detail of mixing the batter, baking the cones, and then packaging them. Even in the fast-paced, automated world of today, we rely on personal attention to ensure quality.
Getting our cones to market quickly and efficiently is important. That´s why we own and operate our own fleet of trucks. It ensures that our cones are handled properly from the time they leave the plant until they arrive at their destination. Yes, it costs us a little more to do this, but the results are worth it. We have a reliable delivery system and almost no breakage.
